Accessibility Statement
Rouso Answers is committed to making our website and phone service usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.
1. Conformance Target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.
2. Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML and landmark regions so screen readers can navigate the page structure
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background on all pages
- Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, and interactive controls, with visible focus states
- Descriptive alt text on informative images and icons
- Labeled form fields with clear error messaging
- Respect for the operating system’s reduced-motion and reduced-transparency preferences
- Automatic light and dark appearance following the operating system setting
3. The Phone Service
Our core product is a voice-based AI receptionist, which is itself an accessible channel for callers who cannot use a website, including blind, low-vision, and low-literacy callers. Every call opens with a spoken disclosure that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant, and callers may ask to be transferred to a human at any time by saying so.
4. Known Limitations
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some third-party embedded components (such as payment and calendar widgets from Stripe and Google) are outside our direct control. We monitor these for accessibility issues and follow up with vendors when problems are found.
5. Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website or while using our phone service, please let us know. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Email support@rousoanswers.com with a description of the issue, the page or feature involved, and the assistive technology you were using, if any.
6. Ongoing Improvements
We periodically review new and updated pages against WCAG 2.2 AA criteria as part of our normal development process, and we welcome reports of any issues we’ve missed.
